Description - Your Key Responsibilities Conduct a wide array of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols with precision. Analyze test results for validity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Assist with the collection of specimens and ensure proper preparation for subsequent testing as needed. Thoroughly document all testing procedures, mentor new hires or students, and maintain high laboratory quality standards. Ensure cleanliness and safety in the work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Educational Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Requirements ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
