Description - What You'll Do Perform a range of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols. Interpret and validate test results for accuracy while resolving discrepancies and ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Contribute to specimen collection processes and meticulously prepare samples for subsequent testing. Maintain thorough documentation of all laboratory procedures, support the training of new employees and provide mentorship to students, ensuring lab quality standards remain high. Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, paired with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science must be obtained within the first year of hire. It is essential to maintain current certification throughout your employment.
