Role Responsibilities Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering strictly to established protocols. Verify and analyze results for accuracy, address any errors, and maintain laboratory instruments through preventative maintenance and calibration. Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary. Thoroughly document all procedures, facilitate training for new staff or students, and actively contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards. Ensure a safe and clean working environment, complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, is required alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be completed within one year of your hire date.
