Description - What You Will Contribute Conduct both routine and advanced clinical lab tests-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other specialties-adhering to established protocols. Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and handle preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Assist with specimen retrieval and prepare samples for subsequent testing as required. Thoroughly document all procedures, facilitate the training of new staff or students, and maintain high lab quality standards. Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation mandates. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation eligibility. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment. Continued maintenance of current certification during employment. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
