Your Responsibilities - What You'll Achieve Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering strictly to established protocols. Evaluate test results meticulously for accuracy, address any errors that may arise, and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments. Assist in the process of specimen collection and prepare samples as needed for testing. Thoroughly document all lab procedures, aiding in the training of new colleagues and ensuring the lab consistently meets quality standards. Maintain a well-organized and safe work environment while rigorously following regulatory guidelines. Education Required A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications Needed ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
