Description - Your Role Conduct both routine and advanced clinical tests-covering areas like hematology, chemistry, immunology, and much more-adhering to established protocols. Evaluate test results for precision, identify inconsistencies, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Provide support in specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as necessary. Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and assist in maintaining lab accreditation standards. Uphold a safe and clutter-free working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health, accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications Certification by ASCP or AMT Board in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain current certification throughout the employment term.
