Description - What You'll Do Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests across various disciplines-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols. Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required. Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and uphold quality standards essential to lab operations. Ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health degree combined with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire. Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout the entirety of employment.
