Responsibilities - What You Will Achieve Conduct both standard and advanced laboratory tests encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional specialties as per established guidelines. Evaluate results for precision, address discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Support specimen acquisition and prepare samples for examination as required. Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, assist in the training of new personnel or students, and help maintain quality standards in the laboratory. Ensure a tidy, safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health field with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Required ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification must be obtained within a year after hiring. Ongoing maintenance of current certification during your employment.
