Description - What You'll Do Conduct standard and advanced clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology following established protocols. Evaluate test results for precision, rectify any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing as necessary. Meticulously document procedures, guide new staff or students, and assist in maintaining the quality standards of the lab. Ensure a safe, organized work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Certification by ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment. Maintain current certification throughout your tenure with us. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaborative efforts with healthcare teams.
