Description - What You'll Do Conduct both standard and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-under protocols in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond. Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance as well as calibration of lab equipment. Assist with the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples for subsequent testing when necessary. Document all procedures comprehensively, guide and train new staff or students, and help maintain the lab's quality standards. Ensure a safe, organized workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of employment. Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
