Description - Responsibilities You'll Embrace Conducting both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-covering areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols. Verifying results for precision, diagnosing errors, while carrying out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Assisting in specimen collection and preparing samples for analysis as required. Documenting all procedures comprehensively, mentoring new staff or students, while ensuring strict adherence to lab quality standards. Upholding a tidy and safe work environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Required Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Necessary Certifications Achieve ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of your start date.
