Description - Your Role in the Lab Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols meticulously. Validate results, identify inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure lab instruments are routinely maintained and calibrated. Participate in specimen collection and, as necessary, prepare samples for accurate testing. Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, assist in training new employees, and play a pivotal role in maintaining lab quality standards. Foster a safe and clean environment while upholding all regulatory guidelines and accreditation requirements. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, including ASCP/AMT certification preparations. Certifications ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire. Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout employment is essential.
