Description - Your Role Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab analyses-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-according to established guidelines. Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as necessary. Document all process thoroughly, guide new personnel and students, and guarantee adherence to laboratory quality assurance standards. Ensure a clean, safe working atmosphere while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain current certification throughout employment.
