Job Summary: Deliver exceptional healthcare services by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and related procedures to produce detailed sectional anatomic images. Essential Responsibilities Conduct MRI procedures with precision, ensuring patient clinical history aligns with the imaging protocol and is properly documented for licensed practitioners. Prepare patients by providing clear instructions to achieve optimal results, foster cooperation, and reduce anxiety. Operate MRI equipment and accessories, selecting appropriate scanning parameters and protocols as directed by radiologists. Position and immobilize patients comfortably to best capture the anatomical area of interest while applying magnet safety principles to protect patients, staff, and self. Assist licensed physicians during procedures and manage both physical and psychological patient needs throughout. Perform venipunctures, administer contrast media safely, and maintain equipment used for patient monitoring and contrast administration. Evaluate image quality, adjust display parameters, and ensure accurate documentation and record keeping. Initiate basic life support when necessary and perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as needed. Educate patients and their families about tests and procedures in a compassionate manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, report equipment issues, and contribute to supply management. Provide practical training to students and healthcare professionals and participate in quality assessment and improvement initiatives. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology. Experience Proven experience as a radiographer with a solid knowledge base to perform MRI procedures successfully. Ongoing education in cross-sectional anatomy is expected. <
