Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region as a full-time Radiology Technologist at Immediate Care Centers. This role involves supporting physicians and advanced providers by delivering exceptional patient care for minor illnesses, injuries, and routine evaluations. You will be responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic digital images, assisting with patient registration and discharge, collecting data, planning treatments, educating patients, and supporting daily clinic operations under the guidance of an RN or provider. Key Responsibilities: Registration/Discharge: Expertly use electronic medical record systems to facilitate patient care documentation, verify insurance and identification, review coding and billing accuracy, and communicate care plans with patients. Clinical Support: Prepare patients for examinations, promptly notify staff of urgent cases, collect and document patient data, assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures, and obtain necessary authorizations. Diagnostic Testing & Treatment: Perform delegated tests and treatments, produce diagnostic images meeting provider and radiologist standards, adhere to radiation safety protocols, operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, and maintain compliance with regulatory competencies. Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed, document accurately, and ensure pharmaceutical records meet regulatory standards. Supply Management: Order and manage clinic supplies efficiently to maintain operational readiness. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a Limited or Associate Degree Radiology Technologist program; Associate Degree preferred. Working knowledge of medical terminology, procedural and diagnostic coding.
