Join a dedicated healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technologist III, performing diagnostic ultrasound studies following established protocols and physicians' specific instructions. This role requires accuracy and efficiency to meet turnaround times while preparing detailed reports for physician interpretation and ensuring high-quality images are available. Essential Responsibilities: Conduct abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, pediatric, small parts, and vascular ultrasound studies. Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care, anticipating patient and family needs to enhance comfort and safety. Assist with patient transportation and collaborate with regulatory and accrediting agencies to maintain departmental compliance. Perform equipment quality control and report any variances promptly. Respond professionally to on-call coverage within one hour. Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with patients, team members, physicians, and external agencies. Education and Experience: Associate degree or higher in Ultrasound from a two-year college or technical school. Preferred: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience post-graduation. Licenses and Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Vascular Sonography (VS). Credentialed in Abdomen (AB) and Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic techniques and patient education. Proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, and Electronic Medical
