Job Description
Safety First- must be able to manage crew and work site in a safe and efficient manner · Meet or exceed estimated production times · Supervise, Direct and Train crew as needed · Assist with general operators and laborers as needed (equipment, shoveling, raking etc.) · Coordinate with hot plants for asphalt mix and orders and any other supplies or materials · Coordinate and direct dump trucks and leaser trucks · Understand and know how to read plans and manage projects · Grease and maintain minor repairs on equipment · Proficient in paving parking lots, roads, driveways and all sorts of patches using all types of different asphalt mixes · Maintain material tickets and records for crew time and materials used Minimum 2 years experience · Self driven and willing to follow instructions from project managers and direct supervisors · Team work- must be willing to work with the Superintendent, operators, and crew members to efficiently and effectively perform the daily projects assigned · Provide good customer service · Willing to work long hours in the sun and outside elements, weekends as needed, and some · Willing to travel as needed · CDL is a Plus · Ability to run the paver, roller, and distributor truck is a plus · Valid drivers license and clean MVR · Commitment to quality work and maintaining the job site and equipment at all times · Honesty and Integrity with a drama free attitude · Extensive understanding of asphalt paving processes · Must be able to pass a drug test · Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand on your feet all day in the elements Benefit Conditions Waiting period may apply Remote interview process Personal protective equipment provided or required Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Job Duties: Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for your team Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes Create and enforce employee schedules and construction timelines Other duties as requested This Job Is: Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits Health insurance Work Location: In person
