This Clinical Intern role offers hands-on experience under the supervision of a licensed nurse, supporting patient treatment and care across various age groups and developmental stages. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities including hygiene, grooming, and mobility. Provide skin care and take precautions to prevent skin breakdown. Support nutritional needs by preparing patients for meals, assisting with feeding, and monitoring dietary restrictions. Collect specimens, perform vital signs, and document intake and output accurately. Perform technical nursing procedures such as oxygen therapy management, catheter insertion/removal, wound care, dressing changes, and nasopharyngeal suctioning under supervision. Conduct patient assessments and collaborate closely with primary nurses to ensure quality care. Educate patients and families in conjunction with nursing staff. Maintain thorough and precise documentation of all patient care activities. Education Currently enrolled in a nursing program or completed nursing education without meeting licensing requirements. Experience Entry-level position; no prior experience required. Certification/License Not applicable for this role. Mental and Physical Requirements This role demands considerable mental focus and physical stamina, including frequent walking, lifting, turning, and other movements necessary for patient care.
