Job Description
Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region as a full-time Radiology Technologist supporting Immediate Care Centers. This role involves collaborating closely with physicians and advanced providers to deliver exceptional patient care for minor illnesses, injuries, and routine evaluations. You will be responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic digital images, assisting with patient registration and discharge, managing data collection, and supporting daily clinic operations under the guidance of nursing staff or providers. Key Responsibilities: Expertly manage patient registration and discharge processes, including insurance verification and accurate coding. Prepare patients for examinations based on their presenting complaints. Communicate promptly about urgent cases to ensure timely assessments. Collect and document patient data in electronic medical records following clinic policies. Schedule diagnostic procedures and obtain necessary authorizations. Perform diagnostic testing and treatments according to established protocols, ensuring radiation safety. Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment effectively. Maintain compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards. Administer medications as directed and document accordingly. Manage clinic supplies efficiently to support daily operations. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a Limited or Associate Degree Radiology Technologist program; Associate Degree preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, procedural and diagnostic coding. Proficient computer skills. Basic Life Support certification (can be obtained upon hire). Tuberculin Screening Tester Certification (can be obtained upon hire). Minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine, orthopedics, or immedia
