Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region, providing essential support to physicians and advanced providers in delivering patient care for episodic illnesses, injuries, and routine evaluations at an Immediate Care facility. This role involves obtaining high-quality diagnostic digital images, assisting with patient registration and discharge, data collection, treatment planning, patient education, and follow-up care. You will also support daily clinic operations under the guidance of registered nurses and providers. Key Responsibilities: Registration/Discharge: Expertly use electronic medical record systems to facilitate patient care documentation, verify insurance and identification, ensure coding and billing accuracy, review care plans with patients, and manage communication in collaboration with clinical staff. Clinical Support: Prepare patients for examinations based on their presenting complaints, promptly communicate urgent cases to clinical staff, collect and document patient data, assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures, and obtain necessary authorizations. Diagnostic Testing & Treatment: Perform delegated diagnostic tests and treatments, produce acceptable digital images, adhere to radiation safety protocols, operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Additional skills include splinting, phlebotomy, urine drug screening, and EKG testing. Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed, document accurately, and ensure pharmaceutical records meet regulatory requirements. Supply Management: Order and manage clinic supplies efficiently to maintain operational readiness. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required.
