Assembler 1 - 2nd Shift

Position Summary JOB SUMMARY: Assembling finished product in Off-line assembly area or 4-bar area according to customer specification and company policies. Hours : Monday-Thursday; 3:30pm-2am Essential Job Functions And Accountabilities Performing general hand assembly Operating Bench Master punch press Operate air press assembly Work in butt hinge assembly, which involves installing bushing, pin installation, using hand and air assembly with a two hand trip machine Operating various two hand trip machines to finish pieces through hand assembly Packaging of materials with proper labeling to be shipped You must strive to meet daily quotas for the various functions Ensure quality checks are performed and documented Perform daily safety checks and document Perform job duties in a safe manner Maintains workstation in neat and clean condition. Assists other workers with specific tasks as requested. Ability to read and follow job instructions Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good dexterity Must have general Math skills; Ability to read blue prints is a plus Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
