Job#: 3031553 Job Description: Assembler Location: Tucson, AZ Employment Type: Contract Role Overview An Assembler is sought to perform a variety of tasks in a manufacturing and production environment. This position involves the assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, repair, and inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The role requires setting up and operating machines and hand tools, routing material flow, and verifying work accuracy according to written instructions and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare materials and perform assembly or rework of electronic and mechanical components. Conduct wire and cable preparation, installation, crimping, and torquing with hand tools. Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality and compliance with standards. Work with subassemblies and contribute to complex product builds. Maintain required productivity and quality standards in a dynamic environment. Follow detailed work instructions and quality protocols consistently. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet production needs. Required Qualifications Experience: A minimum of two years of applicable work experience is required. Technical Skills: Candidates must have experience with manufacturing systems such as VM, CMES, or SAP. Proficiency with hand tools including screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, and torque tools is necessary. Basic computer and math skills are also required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation, or Naval environments. Demonstrated ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy. A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and effective time management. Work Schedule This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The schedule follows a 9/80 work week, which consists of one week from Monday to Friday, and a second week from Monday to Thursday, with Friday off. Flexibility to work across different shifts may be required based on production demands. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is $22.09 per hour.
