POSITION SUMMARY: The Assembly position is responsible for assembling finished product according to customer specification sheet and company policies. Support the goals of the manufacturing departments by providing a diverse array of interrelated responsibilities. FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Preparing, measuring and cutting fabric for air supported structure welding Ability to accurately apply instructions, measurements and read dimensions from design drawings Safely operate various radio frequency welding equipment and other industrial equipment required for the manufacturing of fabric covers and other fabric products Work efficiently with management and within a team environment to meet deadlines Ability to work well with a partner or team when required Ability to travel off-site to assist with the service and installation of air-supported structures Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and overtime when required Checks drawings to determine assembly and any special options. Maintain hand tools, equipment, inventory and any necessary supplies. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub- assemblies, per customer order. From experience, resolves assembly problems and reports other problems to supervisor for assistance. Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies. Assist team leads with daily tasks Keep work area clean Performs other assignments or tasks as required by the department and company Must pick up any parts on the floor to avoid safety hazards. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must have a can do, positive attitude and the ability to thrive working in a fast paced team environment.
