Fri., 5:30a - 2:30p for up to first 90 days Guaranteed overtime: 10 hours of OT per week paid at $30/hr.(1.5x).Free medical:$0 premium medical benefits for employees (Kaiser Permanente or Cigna).Benefits:401(k) with 6% match, dental, vision, life insurance, and tuition reimbursement.Time off:2 weeks PTO 9 paid holidays.Amenities:On-site gym and cafeteria with low-cost healthy options.Event Details:When:Tuesday, April 28th Time:8a - 12p Where:11174 Enterprise Pkwy, Ruther Glen, VA 22546 Process:Tour & Interview (1-1.5 hours total).Offers made on the spot.What You Will Be Doing:As an Assembler at M.C.Dean, you will be part of a team building large-scale electrical modules.Assemble, fit, fasten, and install parts for manufactured products using hand and power tools.Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, shop drawings, and wire lists.Assist in the training of new employees and ensure quality goals are met.Who We Are Looking For:Experience:1years in a job shop environment and 1years of electrical experience.Education:High School Diploma or GED required.Skills:Ability to use hand/power tools and read shop drawings.Physical Requirements:This is an active, industrial role.Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.occasionally and 60 lbs.frequently.Comfortable working at heights (up to 60 feet) and climbing ladders/scaffolds.Ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and crawl for extended periods.Good vision (color vision required) and ability to hear/communicate effectively.How to Prepare:Bring a government-issued ID.Dress code:Business casual or work-appropriate casual Full Job Description:An Assembler is responsible for a variety of duties related to assembling, piecing together, fitting, fastening and installing different parts of manufactured products, performing minor repairs as necessary and other manual labor required in assembling a product.You will assist with:Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.Reading and comprehend shop drawings.Ensuring work is completed as per schedule and quality goals are achieved.Understanding and following Company procedures for ordering, storing, receiving, and returning materials and tools.Qualifications / Skills Sets / Expectations:At least one (1) year of experience in a job shop environment and minimum of one (1) years of electrical experience is required.Reliable Transportation Must successfully pass a background check and drug test Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record.Must be committed to excellence and generate a high quality of work.Must consistently report to work on time, work well with other employees to accomplish a common goal, and maintain a safe work environment.Must wear an M.C.Dean, Inc.hard hat and safety glasses at all times while on the job site.Must wear OSHA approved boot length pants and a shirt that covers the shoulders by seven (7) inches.These are not provided by the Company.High school diploma / GED required.Physical Abilities:The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials.Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance.Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).Listen to and understand
