Assembler/Production 2nd Shift

We offer a generous benefit package which includes Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k) with a nice match, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, an exceptional PTO policy, and much more.We are currently hiring for assemblers in our production facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for 2nd shift only.2nd Shift is from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM / Monday - Thursday Job Duties:Individuals will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and / or mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies.We utilize tablets for the written instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams during the production process.Individual will use knowledge of cable / wire termination and crimping specifications for both semi-automatic and manual crimping tools, and in the use of other hand and power tools for the required assembly processes.Required Skills:Must be proficient in both Verbal and written communication.Must be able to read and accurately interpret written and verbal work instructions.Must be able to read and accurately interpret drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.Must be able to proficiently read a tape measure to 1/8 of an inch.Must have the ability to perform effectively and proficiently in a manufacturing environment in conjunction with meeting productivity standards and production deadlines.Must have good manual dexterity.Be able to periodically lift up to 30lbs.We are looking for candidates with prior assembly experience in the electrical or mechanical fields.If any of this interests you, please apply today.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Experience:electrical or mechanical assembly:1 year (Required) Shift availability:Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute:Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 (Required) Work Location:In person.
