Assembly Technician

Job Summary Suncor Stainless, Inc., located in the Plymouth Industrial Park, has an immediate entry-level position available for an Assembly Technician.Job Summary:The carding of product on cards, attaching parts to cards with zip ties, bar flagging products with stickers, packaging items into master pack quantities as outlined in the master packaging book.Double checking work to ensure accuracy and quality.Conducting manual assemblies based on generated work orders.Putting away all products that are required by the assembly department.Any other duties as requested by your supervisor.Job Responsibilities:All areas of assembling products to include the printing of labels in the labelling systems, placing labels, bagging, and boxing if required by Supervisor.Picking items for manual assembly and putting away stock using handheld scanner Assembling various items into finished products for inventory and/or filling orders Making sure the assembly area is always clean, neat, and organized to reduce confusion and errors.Monitor equipment that is used continually for its safe operation.Follow department procedures.May also be required to pick & pack orders, using handheld scanner.May also be trained to skin pack, print bags, or sew to orders / work orders.Qualifications & Skills:General knowledge of how parts are assembled into each other to create a distinct part.Understand the meaning of barcodes and quality.Be able to understand the assembly process.Good attention to detail and accuracy Must be able to lift to 25lbs.High School or equivalent in education No prior experience required.Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Job Type:Full-time Pay:$17.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):Will you now or in the future require employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, O-1, etc.)?
