Job Description
Our client is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to supervise and direct work assignments within assigned medical buildings, ensure customer satisfaction, and perform cleaning duties as needed in a healthcare-focused environment.Essential Roles and ResponsibilitiesManagement Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.Collaborate with other departments as needed (Sales, Human Resources, etc.).Maintain cleanliness of assigned medical facilities by performing various cleaning duties.Order janitorial supplies, tools, and equipment for assigned accounts.Work with crews to meet cleaning specifications at the highest performance level.Assist in addressing and resolving customer requests.Support oversight, progressive training, and employee development.Employee Development Oversee, coach, motivate, and train employees.Promote employee retention and engagement to meet company goals.Assist in conducting and organizing employee training programs.Ensure employees perform all required cleaning and sanitation functions and assist when needed.Coach and discipline employees appropriately with guidance from leadership or Human Resources.Provide proper supplies and equipment for employees to perform their work.Partner closely with Human Resources regarding training, workers' compensation, recruiting, and disciplinary actions.Safety After training, effectively manage and contain bloodborne pathogens, infectious materials, and other healthcare-related hazards.Promote a safe and sanitary work environment for patients, visitors, staff, and building occupants.Follow and enforce company safety programs, infection-control protocols, and monthly safety topics.Assist Human Resources in the event of workplace accidents (documentation, photos, etc.).Support proper accident documentation with injured employees and Human Resources.Utilize safety handbooks and new-hire guidelines to train employees on safety and healthcare sanitation procedures.Other Responsibilities Follow company sustainability and green cleaning practices appropriate for healthcare environments.Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.Travel up to 0-2% annually as needed.Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when required.Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.Report to work on time and work overtime or travel for business when necessary.Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED preferred.Two to three years of related commercial or healthcare cleaning experience.Ability to read, write, and speak English required.Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated cleaning and sanitation experience, preferably in medical or healthcare facilities.Understanding of healthcare cleaning methods, infection-control techniques, supplies, and equipment.Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.Physical Demands and Work Environment Regular walking, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally (with assistance).Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive arm movements.Ability to visually assess cleanliness, sanitation, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.Compliance with all required safety and infection-control procedures, including exposure to cleaning and disinfecting products.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Pay:$48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
