MouCo Cheese Company is looking for a dedicated Production Employee to join our team.This is a hands-on, team-oriented role involved in all aspects of artisan cheesemaking, including production, cleaning and sanitation, packaging, and quality control.This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly and is interested in learning how food is made at a high level.Schedule & Hours 30-40 hours per week Primarily Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed Start time:6:00-8:00 am End time:11:00 am-3:00 pm (depending on production needs) Job Expectations High attention to detail and ability to follow strict production, sanitation, and food-safety standards Self-motivated, dependable, and punctual Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes Comfortable in a physically demanding role, including:Lifting up to 50 lbs Frequent lifting, bending, and standing Working in warm and humid environments Team-oriented mindset; willingness to rotate tasks and cross-train to support the full production team Genuine interest in food and fermentation (foodie curiosity encouraged) Valid driver's license required (stick-shift experience is a plus, not required) Preferred Experience (Not Required) Kitchen, food production, fermentation, or cheesemaking experience Compensation & Growth Starting at $19/hour Employees who demonstrate strong work ethic and reliability -- and can apply prior food or production experience effectively within our operation -- may progress more quickly through pay increases Pay increases are earned through demonstrated performance, continued learning, and consistent contribution to the team Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $19.00 per hour Benefits:Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Work Location:In person.
