Manage accounting team including accounts payable clerk, accounts receivable clerk, payroll accountant and a senior staff accountant Create quarterly budgets and projections Prepare accurate, timely consolidated financial statements each month Review monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and any issues Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary Prepare quarterly debt covenant calculations Coordinate preparation of monthly FINRA FOCUS filings Reconcile cash accounts daily Review and authorize bill payments and employee expense reports Coordinate annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits and working with tax preparers Review and supervise the semi-monthly payroll Collaborate with third party administrator and review and process monthly distributions related to the advisor’s proprietary investment vehicles Proactively shares ideas and contributes ongoing suggestions for enhancement of the Firm What You Need To Bring To The Table.... Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA required 8-10 years’ experience in general or tax accounting Experience with computerized ledger systems Advanced knowledge of Excel Strong problem solving and analytical skills Team player with leadership qualities Ability to collaborate and work well with all levels of the organization Courteous, personable, approachable, and professional in all relationships Innovative and possesses confidence to take initiative Self-starter who is resourceful, flexible, and willing to work hard Outstanding organizational abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail Critical thinking, problem-solving and project management skills
