Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Dairy Herd Manager to join our agricultural team.Must speak English and Spanish.In this vital role, you will support the management of dairy herd operations, ensuring optimal animal health, productivity, and welfare.Your enthusiasm and hands-on approach will help maintain efficient farm routines, oversee animal husbandry practices, and assist with equipment maintenance.Weekend work and some Holiday's are required.Housing is available for right applicant.Looking for people already living in the USA and preferably in Wisconsin.Husband and wife team work available.Join our progressing farm.Responsibilities Assist in managing daily herd activities, including milking 700 cows, and health monitoring Support animal husbandry tasks such as vaccination, dehorning calves, moving cows and calves efficiently, support maternity pen operations, and general care to promote animal well-being Supervise farm staff , providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocol Conduct routine inspections of livestock facilities and equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs.Show up on time with positive attitude.Must be responsible for own transportation Skills Supervising experience on the farm settings with strong leadership abilities Skidsteer experience Extensive animal husbandry skills with a focus on dairy cattle care and handling Strong understanding of animal handling techniques and farm safety procedures Basic math skills for record keeping, inventory management, and feed calculations Experience with equipment repair including welding and general maintenance tasks Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions Join us in a role that combines hands-on animal care.We're committed to fostering a supportive environment where your skills can flourish while contributing to sustainable dairy farming practices.All positions are paid roles designed to support your professional growth within a vibrant agricultural community.Pay:$2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month Benefits:Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
