Job Summary The Assistant Director of the Learning Center will provide oversight, vision, leadership and strategic direction to a team supporting student success and academic support services for the general student body. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director and will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students, ensuring high-quality, data-informed programming to support multifaceted student populations. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, training, managing and supervising the leadership team, the front desk staff and Graduate Assistants, overseeing program assessment and data analysis, enhancing internal and external communications, managing hiring processes, and developing program/policy procedures. The Assistant Director will assume additional administrative responsibilities in the absence of the Director. Responsibilities Leadership of Academic Support Services - 40 Provide vision and direction for leadership teams ensuring alignment with the Institution's goals to enhance student retention, academic success, and engagement. Provide oversight, guidance and assessment for four large academic support programs: Drop-In tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, the Math lab, and Workshops ensuring alignment with institutional goals and student needs. Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to integrate support services into the broader campus community. Assessment & Data Analysis - 20 Design and implement data collection methods to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
