ADON (Assistant Director of Nursing) Job Title : ADON (Assistant Director of Nursing) Location: Cozad, NE Department: Nursing Reports to: DON Position Type: Full-time Salaried Shifts Available: 8am-4:30p and weekend on-call rotation Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating nursing services for the residents at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad . The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, compliance with regulations, and the efficient management of nursing staff and resources. Responsibilities: Clinical Oversight Assist the DON in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices and protocols. o Ensure the delivery of high-quality care by monitoring resident health and making necessary adjustments to care plans. Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Staff Management: Supervise and support nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
