Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the clinical operations of our growing home health agency. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and efficient day-to-day clinical management. This leadership role is ideal for a motivated Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional home health services. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of clinical operations and patient care services Supervise and support field nurses, therapists, and clinical staff Ensure compliance with Arizona state regulations, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and agency policies Review patient charts, care plans, OASIS documentation, and clinical records for accuracy and completeness Participate in staff training, onboarding, competency evaluations, and performance improvement initiatives Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient care services Monitor quality assurance and infection control practices Support survey readiness and accreditation standards Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care Address patient and staff concerns professionally and promptly KANTIME EMR EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Qualifications Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum of 3 years of home health experience required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare home health regulations and compliance standards Experience with OASIS documentation and EMR systems Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Supportive team environment Why Join Us?
