Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant General Manager and play a pivotal role in driving restaurant excellence! This energetic leadership position is designed for motivated individuals who are flexible and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. As an integral part of our management team, you'll oversee daily store operations, lead a talented team, and ensure the smooth functioning of all restaurant activities. Your proactive approach and management skills will help create a welcoming dinning experience while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability. Starting pay: $14-$15 per hour based on experience + Tips !!PLEASE READ!! This is a part time position with promise of fulltime during Seasonal time. As we are in the Off Season and we are a new business, we are trying to remain active and open year-round, in order to do that we try to lower labor costs by scheduling as few employees as possible without compromising speed of service or quality of service. Off Season this position is part-time and occasionally On-Call, during Season this position will be full time 30-40 hours per week. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing scheduling and communication with employees. Be willing and able to assist in kitchen or other areas of necessity during peak hours and unexpectedly busy times. Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing, and loss prevention strategies. Coordinate employee orientation, onboarding, training & development programs to foster a high-performing team. Handle scheduling, shift management, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures accurately. Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering processes, and customer transactions with professionalism. Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost sales and enhance store visibility. Requirements Must be able to self-manage and self-direct by finding issues and solving issues without immediate Supervisory oversight. Must be open availability. Kitchen Experience . Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Proficiency in retail math, budgeting, bookkeeping, and inventory management systems. Hands-on experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, and retail sales management. Demonstrated ability to handle negotiations, employee orientation, interviewing, and training & development.
