Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our Wingstop stores. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in driving business growth, managing budgets, and fostering a positive team culture. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in service Supervise and train staff on food preparation, POS systems , cash handling, and customer service protocols Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and sanitation standards Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure proper coverage during all operating hours Monitor food production processes including cooking, food handling, and presentation to meet quality standards Lead staff training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and hospitality standards Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Assist with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management to optimize profitability Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety procedures across all restaurant operations Support marketing efforts and community engagement to increase brand visibility Key Competencies: Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety practices Experience with POS systems; cash handling expertise required Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising teams and conducting staff training & development Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and operational procedures effectively Previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience preferred; hospitality management background is a plus Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary experience, food handling, and catering is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed Qualifications for the job: Education: High school degree or equivalent 1 Year QSR experience preferred Other: Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer Serve Safe Certification Food Handler Must have reliable transportation Join our team at Wingstop! where you will have the opportunity to lead a vibrant team while delivering outstanding dining experiences.
