If you have a heart for service, a passion for hospitality, and a drive to grow, you'll feel right at home with us.We believe in promoting from within, recognizing potential, and investing in our people.Here, you're not just filling a role--you're building a career with a company that values your contributions and is committed to your success.Job Summary The Assistant General Manager supports the overall management and daily operations of the hotel.This role applies effective leadership to drive revenue, maximize profitability, and maintain high-quality standards.The Assistant General Manager also oversees assigned staff to ensure strong financial performance, exceptional guest satisfaction, and positive employee relations.Key Responsibilities Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences Provide friendly, proactive, and high-quality service to every guest.Address guest concerns and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction scores that meet or exceed brand standards.Lead by example and foster a culture centered on exceptional guest service.Support Sales & Client Relationships Partner with the sales team to ensure group and negotiated account needs are met.Assist with sales calls, property tours, and encourage staff to provide leads to the sales team.Drive Financial & Labor Performance Manage departmental expenses and operate within budget guidelines to maximize profitability.Oversee scheduling and payroll monitoring to ensure effective labor management.Adjust staffing levels based on business needs.Lead, Develop & Support Team Members Interview, hire, train, coach, and mentor hotel associates.Conduct performance reviews and take corrective actions when necessary.Motivate employees through goal-setting, ongoing feedback, and recognition.Serve as the acting General Manager when needed.Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements Hotel leadership experience (required).Prior hotel brand experience (preferred).Strong communication and computer skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding guest and employee information.Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced, hotel environment with varying shift requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to walk, stand, sit, and move around the hotel during shifts, and lift up to 25 pounds when needed (e.g., event materials or supplies).Benefits and Perks Paid Time Off Hotel Discount Perks Medical, Dental and Vision Health Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) JSK Hospitality is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, age, religion, disability, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship status, or any other group protected by law..
