The Graceful Ordinary is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. We are looking for someone who leads with warmth, positivity, professionalism, and genuine care for both guests and team members. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, service-focused, and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while helping cultivate a strong and inspiring team culture. This role works closely with the General Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations, team development, guest relations, and overall service execution. What We’re Looking For 1–2+ years of restaurant management experience required Strong understanding of front-of-house operations and steps of service Positive, solutions-oriented leadership style Warm, engaging personality with strong guest relation skills Ability to coach, train, and inspire team members Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Evening and weekend availability required Responsibilities Support the General Manager with day-to-day operations Lead and support front-of-house service teams Assist with staff training, onboarding, and development Uphold hospitality, service, and operational standards Build meaningful guest relationships and enhance the guest experience Help maintain team morale and a positive workplace culture Assist with floor management, and service execution Ensure cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail throughout service Schedule & Availability 4–5 days per week Evening and weekend availability required Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Dining benefits Growth opportunities within our restaurant group Contribution to 401k and health insurance Closed: Thanksgiving Day Christmas Eve Christmas Day New Year’s Day Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) matching Employee discount Paid time off Parental leave Work Location: In person
