This position involves performing daily cleaning duties in patient rooms, ancillary areas, and office spaces, adhering to established procedures and guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clean assigned patient rooms and ancillary areas daily using appropriate cleaning agents. Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and janitor closets. Complete and submit daily cleaning logs to supervisors. Report any maintenance, safety, or equipment issues promptly. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic literacy and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Experience: 0-3 months of housekeeping or floor care experience, which can be gained through on-the-job training or prior work. Requirements: Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Good communication and organizational skills. Physical ability to stoop, bend, reach, twist, lift up to 40 pounds, and push carts weighing up to 300 pounds. Basic computer skills. Willingness to learn and adhere to environmental services policies. Comfortable working in environments with potential exposure to chemicals, infectious materials, and unpleasant odors.
