Assistant Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting store operations, leading staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and contributing to sales growth and operational efficiency. Duties Assist in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Support employee orientation, training, and development to foster a high-performing team Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales Oversee cashiering functions, including cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store procedures Experience Proven management or assistant manager experience in a retail store setting Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team management capabilities Proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and inventory control Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, marketing, and promotional planning Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently with strong organizational skills This role provides an excellent platform for career growth within retail management while contributing to the success of our store operations.
