Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews, and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team Support payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting Coordinate purchasing activities and assist with budgeting to meet financial targets Implement marketing strategies to promote store offerings and increase foot traffic Experience Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery store environments Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, sales management, and inventory control techniques Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers and staff Experience in recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation processes Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and wireless sales is advantageous Excellent organizational skills coupled with time management expertise Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team management and customer service excellence Familiarity with retail merchandising, stocking procedures, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives Join us as an Assistant Manager where your energy fuels our success!
