Assistant Preschool Teacher

Job Summary Dandy Lion Montessori School is looking an assistant teacher (part-time or full-time). We are primarily looking for someone in the afternoon and availability to close, but can be flexible. For this role, we are looking for someone eager to work with children and has prior experience working with preschool-aged children. We are open to training the right fit! What you’ll do Support the Head Teacher and back their efforts to manage the class Follow the specific duties provided to help maintain the school environment Engage and supervise children in group activities and individual lessons Basic qualifications 12 units in ECE and at least 6 months work experience in a licensed child care program OR A current Child Development Association credential plus 6 months on the job training work experience in a licensed child care program OR A Children's Center Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Preparation and Licensing Preferred qualifications Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Certification Availability perform closing duties About us Dandy Lion Montessori School is a private Montessori preschool in Grover Beach, CA.
