The Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology, Division of Pediatric Neurology is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to join our growing team of Pediatric Epileptologists. Primary practice location will be at Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Campus. Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology is credited as the "birthplace of Pediatric Neurology". The fluid integration and collaboration of neurological care, training and investigation across the lifespan is a point of pride and serves as an example for the nation. The Department of Neurology includes over 60 academic faculty in pediatric neurology. Johns Hopkins Child Neurology has ranked as a leading program in the USNWR for over 30 years. Our faculty include internationally recognized experts in epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, neurogenetics, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, neurooncology, critical care disorders, headache, neonatal neurology, and neurodevelopmental medicine. Outpatient services at Johns Hopkins are provided at Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center. Child neurology has 5 inpatient services within the Johns Hopkins Children's Center, including a primary service, a general consult service, a neonatal ICU and pediatric ICU consult service, a pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit, and continuous neurophysiological monitoring service. Each of our faculty are committed to the academic mission of advancing care and understanding of pediatric neurological disease. In addition to mutually agreed upon goals to be developed in partnership with the department director and the division director, the candidate will assume the following responsibilities, subject to change based on division needs: Clinical 6-8 weeks of service on the inpatient pediatric epilepsy monitoring service per year 4-5 weeks of service on the inpatient long term continuous EEG monitoring service per year 1-2 outpatie
