Job Summary The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a full-time faculty member for the graduate nursing programs. Preference will be given to candidates with graduate nursing academic teaching experience. Responsibilities Responsible for teaching graduate nursing students enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. This position includes expectations for teaching, scholarship and service. Responsibilities include didactic, clinical, and/or laboratory instruction and clinical site visits in regional health care settings. Teaching schedule may require some travel to clinical sites in the metro-Atlanta area and North Georgia region. Required Qualifications Doctorate in nursing (DNP or PhD). Current license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse. Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/ Gero Nurse Practitioner.
