Assistant Professor of Athletic Training The Department of Health and Human Performance in the College of Health Sciences at Chatham University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, 12-month, faculty position to begin August 2026, within the Athletic Training Program. Successful candidates will have an earned doctorate in athletic training or a closely related field (ABD are encouraged to apply). Teaching experience in a CAATE accredited program, and evidence of scholarly productivity are preferred. A minimum of three years full-time clinical experience is required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching within the Professional athletic training program (with content expertise in therapeutic interventions in rehabilitation and modalities, pharmacology, clinical experience courses, healthcare delivery is preferred) Mentor professional athletic training students in research projects Engage in scholarly activity Assists with administration of the AT program as requested Assists with evaluation and development of AT curricula Assists with student recruitment Represents program at local, university, state, regional and national meetings Provide service to the AT program, department, college, and university Qualifications: An earned doctorate in athletic training, or related field BOC certification and eligibility for a Pennsylvania state license Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following content areas: teaching within a CAATE accredited program (e.g., therapeutic interventions in rehabilitation or modalities, pharmacology, clinical exper
