Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its team in Jacksonville, FL. The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager with technical and administrative direction, supervision of projects, aspects of project management, leadership, profitability, and client management for the project design team. Responsibilities include accountability to Project Manager in the areas of project management, financial performance, preparation of technical proposals and invoices, monitoring of project budgets, staff supervision, scheduling of key projects, and responsibility for the design tasks associated with civil engineering projects. The Assistant Project Manager will work within Autocad and alongside existing office staff and senior management to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines. Responsibilities Assist in preparation of effective work plans and man-hour budgets for approval by supervisor. Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy client. Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects. Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, and schedule of deliverables. Participate in or hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing the review and approval of projects are followed prior to submission of completed work.
