Job Roles and Responsibilities Project Scheduling and Monitoring Support the development and management of comprehensive project schedules across all phases, including engineering, factory production, delivery, and field installation. Monitor project progress and coordinate activities with the field operations team to resolve problems and maintain timelines. Prepare and analyze project status reports for both internal leadership and external stakeholders. Submittal and Design Coordination Lead the development and processing of project submittals for third-party engineering approval, ensuring they align with project specifications, drawings, and performance standards. Conduct submittal reviews with internal and external parties. Support project plans by reviewing designs and specifications, recommending changes to improve project delivery efficiency. Communication and Record Keeping Serve as a primary point of contact, maintaining accurate and current records of all internal and external project communications. Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, building owners, construction managers, and manufacturers. Represent the organization at meetings to discuss project scope, schedule, and performance. Quality Control and Field Operations Coordinate with internal quality control personnel to ensure quality standards are upheld during the production phase. Perform site visits at key milestones, such as delivery, rigging, installation, and commissioning. Support the scheduling of start-up and commissioning activities to meet the customer's timeline. Project Closeout Assimilate and catalogue all documentation required for a successful transition into the warranty period. Issue warranty letters, Operation & Maintenance manuals (IOMs), closeout documents, and final test reports. Qualifications And Certifications Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management with at least 2 years of project management experience (specifically in HVAC systems, equipment, or installation). Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of relevant HVAC project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical Skills And Competencies Proficiency in MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with Autodesk products, specifically Navisworks, is considered a significant plus. Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Proven ability to visualize and execute multiple projects concurrently while meeting time, scope, and budget goals. Requirements Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong diplomatic skills for interfacing with individuals at various organizational levels. Flexibility to work outside normal hours or weekends as required by project demands.
