Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager with the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced retail financial services location. Working in the Banking, Insurance & Investment industry within our Retail Operations team, you will help ensure that customers receive accessible financial solutions—from personal loans and retail financing to insurance products—that support their stability and long-term growth. You will partner closely with the Store Manager to oversee the front-line team, support smooth branch operations, and maintain a strong customer-focused environment. Your responsibilities will include coaching and supporting team members, assisting with scheduling, monitoring performance, and contributing to a culture that reflects CCFI’s supportive, inclusive, and community-oriented values. You will help drive sales results by actively engaging with customers, identifying needs, and recommending appropriate financial products such as personal loans, installment loans, and insurance offerings. In this role, you will assist in handling daily cash operations, including balancing drawers, reconciling transactions, and ensuring adherence to company policies for cash control and fraud prevention. You will help manage store opening and closing procedures, maintain accurate records, and support compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines, including basic Know Your Customer and related financial services requirements. You will also use point-of-sale and branch management systems to process applications, collect documentation, enter customer data, and follow up on pending accounts. The Assistant Store Manager will contribute to local marketing initiatives, community outreach, and in-store promotions that align with CCFI’s mission to provide accessible financial services. You will support a positive work environment by modeling strong customer service, handling escalated customer concerns with professionalism, and collaborating with the Store Manager to identify opportunities to improve operations, customer experience, and store performance. This opportunity is well suited for candidates with previous retail, financial services, or customer-facing leadership experience who are looking to grow into greater responsibility. You will build skills in retail banking operations, personal lending, and insurance products while working in a collaborative culture that values teamwork, employee development, and community engagement. As you gain experience, you will be positioned to take on more advanced responsibilities in branch management and broader financial services leadership within the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands.
