In this energetic role, you will support the store manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that sales goals are met with enthusiasm and professionalism.Your leadership will inspire a motivated team, foster a welcoming environment for customers, and uphold the highest standards of retail excellence.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while making a tangible impact on our store's growth and community presence.Assist the store manager in coordinating daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a smooth workflow.Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring all staff are trained in product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies.Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, merchandising, and inventory management systems to maximize sales opportunities.Oversee cashiering activities, including POS (Point of Sale) transactions, pricing accuracy, and cash handling procedures to ensure financial integrity.Lead recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and supporting employee orientation programs.Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost sales and enhance store visibility within the community.Monitor sales performance using retail math principles and sales management techniques to meet or exceed targets.Support shift management by organizing schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring operational efficiency during peak hours.Conduct regular training & development sessions to enhance team skills in customer service, merchandising, and product knowledge.Maintain a clean, organized store environment through effective merchandising, stocking, and inventory control practices.Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities.Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and engage customers effectively.Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.Knowledge of merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, and promotional planning.Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and employee orientation programs.Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative duties.Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills to handle customer concerns or operational challenges promptly.Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership fuels our store's success!
