Position Overview We are seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager to support our daily operations in Thousand Oaks.This role is perfect for a people person with a can-do attitude who can balance high-standard customer service with the operational needs of a curated boutique.You will play a key role in maintaining our organized space, managing inventory, and ensuring our mission of sustainability is reflected in every customer interaction. Key Responsibilities 1.Operational Support & Leadership ? Support all daily store operations and provide oversight of store supplies and facility maintenance.? Act as a leader on the floor, ensuring smooth register operations and accurate transactions.? Maintain a clean, well-organized, and visually appealing boutique space.2.Inventory & Merchandising ? Assist in inventory management, including receiving and processing donations with an eye for quality.? Ensure merchandise is consistently restocked and organized to meet our boutique standards.3.Customer Excellence ? Provide exceptional, courteous service to a diverse customer base and donor community.? Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and community engagement. Requirements & Schedule ? Availability:Must be able to work Thursday through Sunday.? Regular days off:Monday and Wednesday.? Occasional Tuesdays as required.? Experience:Prior retail leadership experience is preferred.? Skills:Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.? Physical Ability:Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
