Creative and strategic, the Assistant Store Leader – Visual brings the Crate & Barrel brand to life through exceptional merchandising, store presentation, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Store Leader, you lead the visual team in executing seasonal floorsets, maintaining brand standards, and managing product flow from receiving to the salesfloor. You partner closely with Operations and store leadership on daily operations—including receiving, inventory management, and maintaining operational standards—while overseeing the visual budget, supplies, and back-of-house organization. You analyze store KPIs to drive business performance, lead replenishment routines, and manage clearance areas to optimize results. A mentor and educator, you own the scheduling, onboarding, and training of the visual work team, developing their product knowledge and visual skills to deliver compelling brand storytelling and support professional growth. In collaboration with the Store Leader, manage and delegate workload and ensure execution of plans and strategies across the store and in assigned area Align with the management team on store business goals as well as the company mission, goals and initiatives to all store associates Partner with the Store Leader to establish and communicate all critical metrics and expectations within the store, including but not limited to sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll/scheduling and training Analyze reporting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly and prepare information relating to and/or affecting sales, productivity and budget to communicate to the area, region or national levels Focus on promoting and driving sales as they pertain to, or are driven by, position and acting as the Leader on Duty (LOD) Communicate regularly with the management team concerning all aspects of sales, customer feedback/traffic and associate training/performance. Participate in weekly store walk-throughs with the management team and follow-up as required Collaborate with direct reports promote the customer experience and a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates Coach, teach, train, recognize and manage all aspects of performance and development for all store associates to encourage professional growth and build a bench of talent Ensure all customers are provided gracious, quick and efficient service.
